Today is Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is not just for childen.It's just as much fun for adults to make, send, and receive valentines as it is for children to do so.And on what other day of the year can we buy and receive such wildly decadent boxes of candy? The best thing about Valentine's Day is that it's an excuse to say"I love you" We tend,for the most part,to be shy beings who have difficulty saying the things we ought to. Though it never hurts to say "I love you"to other family members, there are times when it's more important than usual.Perhaps there's been a lot of fighting lately between certain members of the family-or all of them? Perhaps a family has undergone changes due to remarriage or adoption or other reasons, and the new members of the family feel very much on shaky emotional ground.

Valentine's Day helps us remember the need to express our affection,in good times and troubled, and gives us a skirt to hide behind while doing so. That alone makes it a holiday worth celebrating. This is for Jammie&Amy I love you
